CIDS is online engineering. Now find data on cylindrical connectors online, ideal for anyone who specifies or purchases connectors. Only available here.

CIDS is fast. There are literally millions of part combinations that are available for military and commericial multipin cylindrical connectors. It could take hours to find what you need. With CIDS, it takes only minutes.

CIDS has two major features:
  • Identification of either a commercial of military part numbers.
  • Selection of a connector by user requirements

CIDS finds without a part number. Find parts using a drill down method. Start categories include Power and/or Signal, High Current Mil-C-22992 Class L, Coaxial Contacts, and Military Specifications.

CIDS finds Mil-Spec numbers. Below is a list of mil-specs indexed in CIDS:

    History
In September 2001, development commenced. On August 1, 2002 we placed a beta test version of CIDS on our web site. We informed 26 of our customers about CIDS and they began using it. At the same time, other connector users, by surfing the net, discovered our site and also began using it. On January 26, 2008 we had over 15,000 registered users.

On January 27, 2003, CIDS was released to the public and is no longer considered a beta test version.
