Specification	Description
MIL-C-26500	Cylindrical Bayonet or Threaded Connectors, Crimp Front Release These connectors were designed for the Minuteman program and later extensively used by Boeingšs Aircraft division. Both the threaded and bayonet type of coupling have the same 9 shell sizes --- 8 thru 24 with contacts (M39029) in sizes 20, 16 and 12 plus size 8 coax. In addition to the environmental Type, both firewall and hermetic types are available. This series of connectors has been replaced by MIL-C-83723 Series III. With exception of some shell size 8 connectors, MIL-C-26500 and MIL-C-83723 connectors are intermateable and intermountable. Due to different accessory threads at the rear of each series, backshells are different.
