Specification	Description
MIL-C-5015	Cylindrical Threaded Connectors Crimp Rear Release This military series of connectors is intermateable with all other series – solder and crimp front release. It replaces MIL-C-83723 Series II but the accessory threads between these two series are different. (MIL-C-83723 Series II does not use M85049 backshells). Connectors are provided in an environmental or firewall class and intended for use with either discrete wires or jacketed cable. When using jacketed cable, the front release type is preferred. Backshells for these connectors (M85049 Types) must be ordered separately. There are 17 shell sizes --- 8S thru 48 (.844" to 3.218" diameter) and contact sizes 16 thru 1/0 are available.
