MIL-C-81511 Series 2	Cylindrical High Density Bayonet Connectors Shown below is a summary of these connectors. Series 2 has been superceded by Series 4 Series 2 50% Scoop-proof gang release of contacts Series 4 50% Scoop-proof rear release of contacts There are 5 shell sizes ---8 thru 18 (.850" to 1.475" diameter) and 11 shell styles. Contact sizes are 23 to 12 and are used in 20 insert arrangements with 85 the maximum number of contacts in size 23. Connectors are available in environmental, hermetic and potting seal. Backshells (M81511) must be ordered separately.
