MIL-C-81511 Series 3	Cylindrical High Density Bayonet Connectors Shown below is a summary of these connectors. Series 3 supersedes Series 1 Series 1 100% scoop-proof gang release of contacts Series 3 100% scoop-proof rear release of contacts There are 8 shell sizes--- 8(A) thru 24(J) (.850" to 1.814" diameter) and 8 shell styles. Contact sizes are 23 to 12 and are used in 31 insert arrangements with 155 the maximum number of size 23 contacts. Connectors are available in environmental and hermetic Types. Backshells (M81511) must be ordered separately.
