Specification	Description
MIL-C-83723 Series III	Bayonet Coupling Connector, Crimp Rear Release Contacts These connectors are intended to replace MIL-C-26500 types. With the exception of certain shell size 8 configurations, MIL-C-26500 and MIL-C-83723 Series III are intermateable and intermountable. However, the rear accessory threads are different so the backshells are not interchangeable. There are 32 insert arrangements in the 9 shell sizes -- 8 thru 24 (.766" to 1.760" diameter). Use contacts (M39029) sizes 20 thru 12. coaxial and thermocouple contacts are also available. The maximum number of contacts is 61 size 20 contacts. Environmental or hermetic Types are available as well as EMF/RFI protection.
